"Elf" has connected 6 candy canes and is hanging on them.  The candy cane fits nicely on the top of a door but could also hang from a curtain rod, light fixture, cabinet door knob etc.  A rubberband is included in case your Elves hands are not connected.  A glue dot is also included to help secure the top candy cane.
